MBA And Professional Accounting Streams at Monash University
The Master of Professional Accounting streams are designed for students from non-accounting backgrounds equipping you with knowledge and skills in accounting and related fields. Graduates who wish to pursue a career in accounting may gain employment in a variety of organisations – in public practice, the public sector and the private sector. The Master of Professional Accounting is a 12 unit degree while the Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced), the 16 unit degree, will extend your knowledge further enabling you to acquire a deeper understanding and a wider range of skills and knowledge. There are day and evening classes to cater for full-time and part-time students.
Professional accounting accreditation
On graduation, you will meet the academic requirements for admission as an associate member of CPA Australia, National Institute of Accountants and entry to the Chartered Accountants Program of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA). Becoming a member of either CPA Australia, ICAA or the NIA is a great career move and gives you an internationally recognised and respected business qualification.
