Students completing the AAS degree in Construction Supervision have prepared themselves for supervisory/administrative roles within the construction industry. The curriculum incorporates course work in the physical sciences, mathematics, architectural principles, business and construction technology. New students are encouraged to talk or meet with a construction supervision faculty advisor before first semester registration and required to attend one of the Orientations.
The student may select from two options: Option A will allow the student to complete a business track of the construction occupation. Option B will allow the student to participate in our carpentry program. This option is a day requirement due to the nature of the work. Students will work on the construction of a house.

Administrative Support Specialist-This certificate will prepare the student for entering a business environment to become an office professional. The student will develop skills in touch keyboarding and applications, electronic office procedures, word processing, language skills, electronic information systems, human relations and communications.
Bookkeeping & Office – This certificate will prepare the student for entering the job market in positions in bookkeeping and/or work in an accounting department. The student will develop skills in basic accounting including the accounting cycle, computerized accounting, keyboarding and tenkey by touch as well as business math. Also taught are computer skills such as electronic spreadsheets, word processing, and electronic office procedures

An M.B.A. application, including personal statements, to be completed online at http://apply.arcadia.edu.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a recommended GPA of 3.0 or better.
One official transcript from each college, university or professional school attended. Transfer credits included on a transcript must include grades earned; if not, an official transcript from the original school must be submitted. Transcripts must be sent from the issuing school in a sealed envelope and contain the appropriate signatures and seals to be considered official.
Two letters of recommendation. The letters must be of a professional not personal nature.
Test scores may be submitted if previous coursework does not indicate an appropriate background in quantitative knowledge. GRE or GMAT scores are preferred; however, CLEP examinations also may be submitted. A minimum quantitative score of 550 on the GRE or a total score of 500 on the GMAT is recommended.
A minimum of two years of work experience. Students with exceptional undergraduate records with less work experience may be considered.
A current professional résumé.
A signed Statement of Intent to Study Abroad form.
International applicants should visit www.arcadia.edu/international for detailed information on admission requirements and application procedures. Official results from the TOEFL or IELTS are required for all students for whom English is a second language except for non-native speakers of English who hold degrees or diplomas from post-secondary institutions in English-speaking countries (e.g. the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand). A course-by-course evaluation of all transcripts by an independent evaluation service based in the United States also is required.
All of the above information must be submitted by an applicant in order to be considered for acceptance.
