Like many of our business courses, HNC Business Management is designed to give you a good foundation in a number of business and management disciplines. A broad choice of course options will give you the opportunity to focus on areas of particular interest or to meet the requirements of a favoured career.
Within this context, the main aims of this course are:
to provide you with a wide range of intellectual and analytical abilities relevant to business management
to provide you with an in-depth understanding of the terminology, principles and techniques employed within business and management.
When you graduate you will be able to:
demonstrate a thorough understanding of the various management functions, including human resources, marketing, accounting and finance and information management
analyse the role of internal factors in formulating and implementing business decisions

As with many of our business degrees, the aim of this course is to equip you with a solid foundation in business and management theory. You will also have the opportunity to develop a range of practical skills and analytical techniques currently used within a number of business areas.
