The Master of Arts in Organizational Management Program provides a professional, values-centered education to leaders, managers, consultants, entrepreneurs, and individual contributors who can more effectively work with and through people to accomplish organizational goals.
The program prepares graduates who assist organizations in achieving their mission by promoting skilled leadership, effective team work, and a comprehensive systems understanding of the work of organizations and their relationship to a larger environment.
Through a combination of classroom and field-based activities, the program provides both theory and practical knowledge, grounded in experience, that graduates can apply in business, government and not-for-profit settings.

McGregor’s Master of Arts (M.A.) in Management program is more than an MBA. In addition to taking courses in business administration, students develop the interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills requisite in today’s challenging work environments. Management students build upon their life and work experiences and learn to integrate theory and practice to affect positively their careers, their lives, and their communities.
Full time students complete 48 quarter credits in 18 months (6 quarters) by attending class either monthly or every Saturday. Class attendance is supplemented with participation in an online learning community. Students begin the program in either the spring (monthly format) or fall (Saturday format). A part time option is available and the program will accept graduate transfer credits.
Non-degree seeking students may elect to complete a Certificate in Business Administration through either the monthly or every Saturday format. The 24 credit hour certificate is comprised of courses from the second, third and fourth quarters of the master’s program. Please see the course timeline.

The Graduate School of International Management (GSIM) is an independent school focused purely on graduate-level education, providing advanced, professional education for business workers. It is also the first private, professional graduate school authorized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in accordance with its newly-established Standards for Professional Graduate Schools in Japan. GSIM offers a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Program and Doctoral Program. Up to 100 students can be enrolled in the MBA program, which is comprised of a Regular MBA program that requires two years to complete and an Executive MBA program that can be completed in one year. There are two types of courses in the Regular MBA program, a Full-time course that mainly consists of daytime classes and a Flex-time course that is mainly comprised of evening classes. The MBA Program trains practical business experts who are well versed in the business management techniques that can sustain the age of globalization. The Executive MBA Program, designed for business people who already work as divisional heads or higher positions, helps to train business leaders of the future.

Focusing on product life cycle, production systems, supply chain, environmental management, business management and other problematic areas that plague modern societies, the Management Technology Course studies structuring and the operation of concepts, methodologies and systems that are necessary for the management of information technology. As an alternative set of subjects, the course deals with information technology, OR/statistics, IE and management engineering. The course welcomes graduates from other departments and faculties in addition to those from the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
